Shooting on location with studio strobes has always been something of an issue. Battery life was a problem if you were firing your lights at full power or using more than one strobe at a time, and bi-voltage strobes were either glitchy or incompatible. Innovatronix has been producing excellent portable battery solutions for many years and the new Explorer XT3 appears to be even better than previous batteries and quite a performer.
