Role Reversal

While it is a known fact that lighting is essential to photography, a lot of times artificial light is used as a substitute for natural sunlight. Although it doesn't seem like it, this shot was taken at 7 in the evening. With a speedlight and some makeshift blinds, this looks like it was taken no later than sunset. To add drama to the shot, old venetian blinds were placed 3 feet in front of a speedlight to get the shadow lines. Taking more than two dozen shots, it was not an easy effect to pull off. Good lighting and dependable gear made it possible.
Gear List:
Tronix Explorer XT
Tronix Speedfire
Makeshift Venetian Blinds
Here's how it was done:

A member of the team puts together makeshift blinds

Unable to get the ideal shadows after several tests, the shoot took quite a while but the Explorer XT and the SpeedFire lasted through the shoot, providing power & faster recycling time just like it is connected to AC/wall socket
Did you have more than one set of blinds? I'm trying to figure out how you have two different shadows from blinds on two different walls.
