Tronix Explorer XT Special Edition (SE) is now on special order!
We are pleased to announce that the new Tronix Explorer XT SE (Special Edition) - designed to be compatible with the multivoltage/autovoltage monoblocks, and is now available on special order*. It costs USD349 per unit, same as the regular Tronix Explorer XT.
We have tested the full compatibility** and safety of use of Explorer XT SE units to the following monoblocks:
Elinchrom BXri 250/500
Hensel Integra Pro Plus 500
Profoto Compact 600R
It has the same functionality and reliability of the current Explorer XT models but is only optimized to work with multi-voltage monoblocks, as listed above. Our guarantee for these Explorer XT units is compatibility, safety and reliability to the three (3) monoblocks. While other multivoltage/autovoltage monoblocks from other manufacturers will most likely be compatible, we cannot guarantee its 100% compatibility.
Similarly, these Explorer XT units come with our customer satisfaction guarantee and warranty programs.
The Tronix Explorer XT SE units are expected to ship by late October 2009.

This is good news. I have a question if you don't mind. Can you run two BXri 500s simultaneously off it?
