The Tronix Auxiliary Battery Pack, initially designed as a back up power for the Tronix Explorer XT, has been a staple back up power for other Tronix photo equipment such as the Tronix SnapPower and Tronix Vulcan (portable smoke machine).
With the new Tronix PowerX Mac (+12 Hours Portable Power for Mac Laptops) and the Tronix Portable Air Blower, the Tronix Auxiliary Battery Pack is now even a primary power supply.

Equipped with two (2) 12V 12AH sealed lead acid batteries and built-in charger, is capable of giving you more power for long duration, on-location photo shoots – on powering your strobes or flash units, special effects equipment such as smoke machine and blowers and now, even laptops or notebooks.

Using the same built-like tank design like other Tronix products, it has a robust handle and made with sturdy, black metal case for easy carrying and durability. Safe and easy to use, the Tronix Auxiliary Battery Pack comes with the car charger plug. This battery pack weighs 10.5 kilograms and measures 31.5cm x 15.45cm x 17.9cm.

Portable power for laptops
The new Tronix PowerX Mac is a battery-operated Switch Mode Power Supply and charger designed for laptops or notebooks. The Tronix Auxiliary Battery Pack serves as its main power source. This power supply/charger is equipped with Magsafe technology, compatible for MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air.



Primarily designed to be hooked to Tronix Auxiliary Battery Pack with input voltage of 20V-28Vdc and will provide 14V-16.5V which your Mac needs. This solution will be more than handy especially when you are out on location.

In addition to Mac's internal battery pack, which can give you 6-8 hours, with this power supply/charger adaptor and a Tronix Auxiliary Battery Pack combination, additional power for 12 hours for your laptop is just as easy. Power supply for a total of over 18 hours should be in the fly.

The Tronix PowerX Mac acts as a fast charger that a fully drained Mac can be recharged in less than an hour to a couple of hours. Or use it even if you're on your Mac - flipping slideshows, working on post-production, or even just watching movies - on location.

Creating special effects on location
